“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:14-16
I absolutely adore this. The color you chose for the background is perfect and the knife-strokes really highlight the illuminated quality of the tones.
ReplyDeleteLove the dramatic light you created in this one by utilizing complimentary colors...
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Arena.
DeleteThanks, Deanna. I wasn't sure about the background when I started. Thanks for reaffirming.
ReplyDeleteI love this Mike! I love the background, the reflection of the light. This is so beautiful, and I love the passage you selected as well. I have not had time to comment on all of your work. So Sorry for that. I love your color choices, and... they are all so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, Sheila. I'm glad you're following my blog. Blessings.
